Hi I'm Sandra, I've been a volunteer since 2018.

I help with answering the emergency phone line and advising people what to do if they find a sick or injured hedgehog, as part of this role I arrange transport and which rescue the hedgehog needs to go to.  

I foster hedgehogs until they are ready for release and I’m also a HOT's fosterer: this means I’m a ‘Hands On Technician’ so I can help with the medications and longer term rescues.

I also help with giving educational talks to the public and help at events fund raising.
